Advanced Trade Credit Insurance, Module 1: Policy and Policy Underwriting – 9 September 2021

In this three hours webinar, top experts from the Trade Credit Insurance industry will explain you the terms and conditions of a Trade Credit Insurance Policy and their Underwriting by the Credit Insurers. It is the first module of the Advance Trade Credit Insurance course with in total 3 modules (next to module 2 on Risk, Buyer und Credit Limit Underwriting and module 3 on Collections and Claims). The content builds on the STECIS Fundamentals of Trade Credit Insurance seminar or some other basis experience with Trade Credit Insurance. The course gives you an insight on the typical and the more specific conditions of a Trade Credit Insurance Policy. You will understand the critical situations in applying such a policy, for instance in case of disputes, payments made by a buyer or carrying on deliveries within an adverse situation like an buyer is overdue with a payment. The webinar will share also with you the principles of how Credit Insurers underwrite a Trade Credit Insurance policy. Case studies you have to read in advance will allow you an insight in the daily practice of policy underwriting.
